Books etc.

pretty much all kind of books, stories, whatever
Cordelia's Honor - Lois McMaster Bujold 3.5 stars so farIt's amazing what goodreads can do to your reading habit. I thought I'd never enjoy sci-fi books. I've tried a bit before and was not happy by the whole technicality and how everything have to be called something else just because it's supposed to be something super duper complicated. But this one.. this one can convert me yet. I've just read the first part and found myself craving for more reading time.------------------------------------------------Isn't it wonderful when you found a book that suits exactly the kind of reading you needed. I had such a miserable time this week at work and in private live, where everything was topsy turvy and my emotion zig-zagged from one extreme to the other. It was also a very demanding time leaving me only some minutes of reading before drowning to another fitful sleep or mental gymnastic. This book, this book saved those small minutes, brought me to another world in a mere 2 or 3 pages, sometimes paragraphs. I could read just a small fragments at a time and being connected to the story right away. This book is light but still has some meat on it, enough action to make it interesting but still allows me to leave it for other duties (though I have to admit, the minute I could spare some time I read it the rest of it in 2 or 3 long chunk of time). I definitely need to stock-up on her books for the future.
